First Aid Beauty Review
5:12 PMThe first product is the face cleanser which I was the most excited to try. I have used it several times now and really love it! It seems very gentle and it's not a super thick consistency which I despise in cleansers. It has a fresh, clean scent which is a plus as well. I didn't notice any leftover residue that you get with a lot of face cleaning products.
Overall I would rate this a 5/5!
The second product is the 5 in 1 face cream that I regret purchasing. It seems to be geared more towards fighting signs of aging - not what I'm concerned about. The first issue I had was the formula. It's really hard to describe, but I will try. I wouldn't call it a glow nor a shimmer, but somewhere in between and makes my face appear oily. After applying it I had to vigorously wash my hands because it would not come off and my hands also appeared oily/greasy with a sort of shimmer effect. It appeared to have a yellowish tint to it as well. It also had a horrible smell that I could not get over. Not sure if something was wrong with my actual product but they came completely sealed and the protective piece covering the product was in tact. I thought about gifting it to my mother, but at the same time I feel this product is too horrible to do that. (I'll warn her first) She has extremely dry skin and she's finally hit the big 50 so perhaps something like this would work better for more mature skin. *shrugs* All I know is if she doesn't want it, it's going in the trash.

Yikes! The cleanser sounds fine, but the face cream sounds disgusting! I wonder if it was expired? It almost sounds like it. But still, I'll steer clear of this brand.
ReplyDeleteI have not used anything for my face. I am 40 and would like to try some items.
