Rediscovered Classics: Urban Decay5:46 PM
This first palette has it all - eyeshadows, eyeliner, lipgloss, blush and highlighter. Only thing it's missing is mascara for a complete look. I had been coveting this palette for a while and last year I ended up finding a killer deal on it so I snatched it up. It's the Urban Decay Anarchy Face Case. Isn't the packaging adorable? I love it! It's the perfect size for travel (not that I do much of that).
Since there aren't any names on the palette itself, I just did the swatches from left to right. Now, I must admit that Urban Decay is my #1 favorite eyeshadow makers, next is Too Faced. But they really know how to make metallic and shimmery eyeshadows! OMG! Obsessed! I didn't swatch the other stuff in the palette, because this series is going to focus on eyeshadows only. The pictures do not do these colors justice because I'm still using my crummy iphone to snap pics.
The only matte color is that softy peachy-brown color that's 2nd from the left. It doesn't show up really in the swatch on my hand, however it's a very lovely crease/transitional color. I don't believe it's made to actually show up but to help you blend the other colors in this set.
The last 3 colors are amazing and I can not express enough how the photo does not do it justice! The silver is like BAM! So utterly gorgeous, probably the most gorgeous silver I have ever seen! The shimmer black doesn't really show up shimmery, which I like. It's just the top layer in the palette, but once you rub that off it's a nice smokey black. This is the perfect smokey-eye palette. The lipgloss is a nice rich red and they included their Perversion black eyeliner. The bottom part has 2 blushes and a highlighter. Now I'm not a big fan of the blushes, but the highlighter is gorgeous as well. I'm sure you can still find this palette floating around. I got mine on the cheap off Ebay so I'm sure you can too!
