Let me start off by saying I do not currently nor have I ever owned a Sigma brush. My top 2 epic beauty quests have been finding the perfect foundation and finding the perfect brushes. I know I have been MIA lately, however I've been getting a lot done around my house! In a previous post I talked about how I am wanting to do some projects and share them with you. So I decided to put my top 3 major projects on here so you all can "ooh" and "ahh" over them like I did (hopefully). I am so very impressed with the first project and am looking forward to completing the rest!

I have always been on a quest for the perfect foundation. I prefer drugstore brands because honestly normal people can't afford to spend $39 or more (I know I can't!). So this past weekend I hit up CVS and grabbed these 5 foundations.

Side note, can we discuss for a moment how expensive CVS is these days? I typically never go in there because it's like letting lose a kid in a candy store because drugstore = affordable. However, I was shocked when I saw some of the prices. Also, my local one sucks because they never have anything I see in other blog posts. [insert depressed face here] Ehem, now back to what I was saying.

Hello everyone! Sorry I've been away. Not only have I been super busy with midterms and work, but I also had a personal tragedy that took up a lot of my time. However, all is well and I am back! I am working on an awesome blogging schedule so you'll be starting to see posts on a regular schedule. I've also been working on decorating so I forsee some DIY projects and hauls coming soon!

My most recent project has been my patio. It was such an ugly eyesore! I have a gate that leads to the parking lot outside there are several stepping stones. It was so ugly! It was covered in these awful pebbles that I would slide on and there were weeds galore! So I've been working on making it pretty, of course! (pictures coming in a separate post once I'm 100% finished).

Have any of you heard about this subscription box before? I hadn't and don't even recall how I stumbled across it. But like any other subscription box, you pay a for them to deliver a monthly box to you. I decided to give it a try and here's my review.

When I moved into my new house, I wanted to start brand new - new furniture and new decor. Recently I purchased this gorgeous sectional sofa and I'm in love! This past weekend I finally caved and purchased this patterned area rug. It set me back a pretty penny, but is well worth it!
